Privacy policy

This policy covers the website only. How the 2345AI Fingerprint Browser software handles data is described in the notices and agreements provided in the software.

You do not need an account to browse the website, and the website has no forms that ask for your personal details.

When you browse the website and download the software, we automatically record the following:

• Visits: the pages you open, when you open them, and the address you came from when you arrived (for example, which search engine or website).
• Device and network: your IP address, the approximate location worked out from it (country and province or state), and the identifying information your browser sends (the user agent, which tells us your browser, operating system and device type).
• Anonymous visitor ID: a random ID created in your browser on your first visit and stored in a cookie named b2345_vid, used to count visitors. It is random and does not include your name, contact details or other personal identity information.
• Downloads: when you click a download button, we record which installer you downloaded and when, along with the visitor ID, IP address and browser information above.

• Statistics: to count visits, visitors, traffic sources and software downloads.
• Improvements: to learn which content is useful and improve the website.
• Security: to spot bots and unusual traffic and keep the website running smoothly.

We do not use this information for advertising, and we never sell or rent it to anyone.

The website and the information above are hosted on Tencent Cloud servers in the Hong Kong region, and the software installers are stored in Tencent Cloud Object Storage. Tencent Cloud stores and transmits this data for us as our infrastructure provider.

The website does not use third-party analytics, advertising or social sharing plugins, and does not load fonts or scripts from third parties.

We do not share the information above with any other third party, except where required by law or by an authority acting lawfully.

We currently keep visit and download records long term so that we can see trends over time. Only authorised staff can view these statistics in our admin system.

If you would like the records linked to your visitor ID deleted, contact us with the value of the b2345_vid cookie in your browser. We will delete them once we have checked.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. After clearing them, a new visitor ID is created on your next visit. Blocking cookies does not affect browsing the website or downloading the software.

You can also contact us to ask about, or delete, the records linked to your visitor ID.

The website is served entirely over HTTPS. Statistics are stored in the website’s admin database, which only authorised staff can access.

The website is meant for businesses and professionals, not children, and we do not knowingly collect information about children.

If the way we collect or use information changes, we will update this policy, post it on this page and change the date shown at the top.
